Distinguished Education Alumni Awards

The College of Education and the Purdue Education Alumni Association present annual awards to alumni who have achieved outstanding success in their fields.

Award Categories

1. AWARD OF DISTINCTION*
   Person has achieved national or international distinction, contributing to the field of education
   
2. CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD*
   Person has demonstrated achievement, commitment, and service throughout their education career
   
3. COMMUNITY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD*
   Person has made significant educational contributions to his/her community
   
4. MENTOR AWARD*
   Person has demonstrated professional commitment to K-12 education through teaching and mentoring
   
5. YOUNG EDUCATOR AWARD*
   Person has demonstrated distinctive achievement and currently works in the field of education. Nominees must be in the profession less than seven years.
   
6. FRIEND OF EDUCATION AWARD
   Person has made significant contributions to the enhancement of education through personal or professional influence, service, or financial support. Nominee must be a Purdue graduate; does not have to be a College of Education alumni.
